Our Values and Intentions
Alchemy Yoga & Reiki is a holistic healing space dedicated to honoring the roots of Eastern healing practices and creating a safe space for the authentic self-expression and healing of all people.
Our intention is to connect the practice of yoga with the healing arts, giving students the opportunity to dive deeper into their unique spiritual/healing practices.
At Alchemy Yoga & Reiki, we are deeply guided by our value of inclusivity. We offer daily yoga classes, reiki sessions, and meditative experiences for all levels and abilities, and hold meaningful space for people from diverse backgrounds.
We want you to feel valued and at home; never just a number. We are committed to learning your name, understanding why you are here, and meeting you where you are in your journey.

Valerie Blohm
Owner & Lead Yoga Instructor
Valerie started practicing yoga in 2007 after being diagnosed with cancer and experiencing a disconnection between her body and mind. She didn’t immediately love the practice, but she always felt it calling her back. It wasn’t long before she found her mat to be her sacred space.
She spent the next 10 years on a self-healing journey, deepening her yoga practice and exploring other healing modalities.
After more than a decade of practice, she became a Registered Yoga Teacher in 2018 and a Reiki Master Teacher in 2019. With over 1,000 hours of training and continuing education, Valerie is a certified Hatha, Power Flow, and Yin Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner, and Holistic Ayurvedic Coach.
Her passion is helping others see that they are their one true healer. As a teacher, she reminds her students that their practices are in a constant state of ebb and flow. What matters most is that you honor yourself where you are today.
